Bio:

Prof. A P M Sohrabuzzaman, a skilled Cardiac Electrophysiologist and Interventional Cardiologist, currently Senior Consultant in Cardiology and Director of Cardiac Cath Lab and Heart Rhythm Services at Labaid Cardiac Hospital, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Bangladesh and Professor of Medicine (Honorary Faculty), State University of Bangladesh, Satmosjid Road, Dhaka. Bangladesh. He got his Medical Graduation Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), from Chittagong Medical College & University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh in 1980. He had Fellowship in Internal Medicine (FCPS), from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1987. He got his Doctor of Medicine (MD), from National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1995 and joined as Assistant Professor in Cardiology in the same Institute in 1997. He did special fellowship for two years in Invasive and Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing, from Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi, India.  Further he got advance training in Kualalumpur, Hydrabad and laussane in cardiac intervention, cardiac electrophysiology and device implantation respectively. He has presented scientific papers in many different national and international medical science conferences; he had shown and discussed his difficult cardiac & peripheral intervention and EPS-RFA. He had attended many different national and international medical conferences as invited faculty. It includes cardiac intervention as well as cardiac electrophysiology conferences. He has published more than 40 articles in different national and international medical journal. Those are published in Bangladesh medical journal, Bangladesh heart journal, Bangladesh journal of child health, Chest and heart journal, journal of medical teacher’s federation, Bangladesh journal of cardiology and American journal of cardiology and Journal of American College of Cardiolgy. He has trained a good number of interventional Cardiologist and emerging cardiac Electrophysiologist in Bangladesh.
