Bio:

Dr. Mrinal Kanti Das from Kolkata, India graduated  in 1981, was awarded MD (General Medicine) in 1985 by Dibrugarh University, India and DM (Cardiology) in 1990 by Calcutta University, India. He is at present Consultant Cardiologist at C.K. Birla Hospitals, Kolkata, India. His special interests in cardiology are in hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, anti-thrombotics, pacing and  artificial intelligence in CVD. He was the Past President of Cardiological Society of India, Past Member of Assembly of  International Governors-ACC I and Chief Editor of CSI Update Book on Cardiology 2019. He contributed more than 95 papers in indexed journals, text books of cardiology, update books in cardiology and delivered lectures , key note addresses and orations at different national and international conferences. He is actively associated with philanthropic activities on health and education for the down-trodden people in West Bengal, India.
